Jan. 1: Christmas with our children and grandchildren.

Jan. 2: I took senior Ministerial student, Nathan Black, to Larry’s pizza to talk with him about his future. It was exciting to have him share about his desires to be involved in God’s work.

Jan. 4: My highlight of the day: playing basketball with the young people in the new gym at PVBI.

Jan. 5: Administrative work, ministerial mailing, and board meeting prep. I always make January my Bible reading month; I have taken extra time to read the first five books of the Bible.

Jan. 6: Mahaffey: “Looking to Jesus”

Jan. 7-12: PVBI & General Board meeting and worked on the new headquarter building. 

Jan. 14: Evangelical Hospital, Judah Martin was born to Ryan and Mandy Martin. We thank God that all are doing well. He is our 7th grandchild. 

Jan. 14-29: Florida District Camp trip. God used the ministry of Rev. & Mrs. John Case and Rev. Greg Hobelman family in a great way. God settled in a powerful way on the last Sunday morning and the altar was lined with seekers. We also were blessed to have a high of 21 children in our Children’s Chapel. 

Jan. 29-Feb. 4: Youth Convention. We had a total of 10 guests stay in our home. We thank God for the many spiritual victories won during this convention.

Feb. 6: York: WellSpan Hospital to visit Mary Gillett, our pastor’s wife from Belize. She came to America to have a procedure done for her heart and then she will be ready to have their baby. Keep praying for them all.

Feb. 8: Kinsman, Ohio: I attended the beautiful wedding of Christian and Danielle Claycomb. We wish them God’s best. Christian is the Youth Pastor of our Duncannon Church.

Feb. 10: Duncannon: It was good to fellowship with the Fuller family after church. We appreciated the good report of new ones in the service this Lord’s Day.

Feb. 11-15: FL Sea Breeze Camp: They always have good preaching and singing. A highlight for me is seeing and visiting some of our God’s Missionary ministers. I also talked to several ministerial students about GMC. 

Feb. 16: Beavertown, I went to the viewing of Nancy Bowman. Her husband used to pastor one of our churches. Both were friends of our conference and Beavertown Church.

Feb. 17: Blue Knob, My wife and I enjoyed the service, a wonderful meal and fellowship of Bro. & Sis Neville.

Feb. 18-20: Halifax, GMC Ministerial. We were surely favored with God’s presence repeatedly. Bro. & Sis Shockley both did a great job ministering to us. Rev. Don Mobley was voted in as Minister of the Year. We greatly appreciate his labors and life. Sis. Cara Bunch was also the “Lady of Fine Example.” We appreciate both of these people.

Feb. 21-23: Sermon Preparation for speaking at ICHA and Bus Convention.

Feb. 24: Mountain Road, It was good to see the McKenzie’s and the Hess family back in the church and in this area again. We appreciate so much the faithful labors of the Dicken Family.

Feb. 25: PVBI School Revival: Rev. Keith Bunch did a great job sharing his life story and reminding all of us that we can let God write our story.
