One of the best times of fellowship for our GMC ministers and their wives is our Annual Ministerial. It is a time to encourage, enlighten and equip them to do God’s work. We arrive Monday evening and leave Wednesday afternoon. Most of the ministers are back to preach at their churches on Wednesday night. The Ministerial opens with a combined session for the ministers and their wives. Our guest speaker this year was Rev. Rollin Mitchell. He did an outstanding job throughout the ministerial. We then had time for refreshments, fellowship around the tables, instrument playing around the fireplace, games, shuffleboard, and some went to the gym to play basketball. Then came a lot of heavy wet snow. Electricity was out in many places – a year we will not forget. We modified some things and went forward with Tuesday schedule. It’s always a privilege to have morning prayer together at 7:30 am. What a wonderful opportunity to lift one another before the throne of grace. The men and ladies meet in morning and afternoon by themselves. These sessions are designed to meet different needs for those involved in ministry. Sis Mitchell shared once in the lady’s session. I asked Rev. Greg Hobelman to speak for our afternoon session. He shared a challenging message on integrity. The emphasis was on making sure we are real. We then had a Praise Service led by our Vice President, Rev. Jeremy Fuller, before the evening service. Bro. Mitchell shared how the Angel appeared unto him. Praise God for Bro. Mitchell’s healing!!! God has done a mighty thing in our midst!!! Wednesday morning’s session was presented by Rev. Solomon Shaffer who did an excellent power point on “How far is your reach”? We had a beautiful banquet together on the last day which happened to be Valentine’s Day. At this time we also announced Rev. Aaron Dorman the “Minister of the Year”.  We sure appreciate Aaron and Katrina’s ministry at the Pillow Church and the blessing they are to our conference.
