May 05-06: Loveland, Ohio for the Memorial service of Jebria Poetter, the mother of Rev. Jacob Mason, who was only 46 years old. God helped Bro. Jacob share and preach a wonderful message! 

May 07-10: Studying some early church History. Sermon preparation and travel notes. I went to our PVBI Benefit Auction. 

May 11: Northampton to preach for Mother’s Day!

May 12-17: General Board meeting and a GMYC zoom meeting. I also traveled to Easley, SC for the funeral of Rev. Jacob Miller. It was a privilege to pray in the service. Rev. Steve Miller and family did an excellent job sharing about his life of being a blessing to those in other countries and here in the states.

May 18: York, I appreciated the good response to the message. Rhoda and I also enjoyed the wonderful meal and fellowship after church with the Shaffer’s.

May 19-24: Administrative work, Gen Bd mtg and a GMYC zoom meeting. I appreciate the excellent work they all do to make a great youth camp! I also attended PV kindergarten graduation. Two of our grandchildren graduated. I was then able to participate in the H.S. and College Graduation. Rev. Harry Plank preached a challenging and helpful message to the graduates. Thank you, staff and students, for the job and ministry well done!

May 26: Memorial Day, our family all came over and we also celebrated my dad’s 84th birthday. 

May 27-31: I preached at Camp Hill and talked about future Pastor ideas. Rhoda and I flew out to Denver, CO for our Western District visits. We also had a good board meeting on Saturday. 

June 01: Wauneta, NE and Colorado Springs, I enjoyed preaching at both places. Rhoda and I enjoyed the fellowship with the Hunt’s and Kearney’s. We were excited to see new people at both churches. 

June 02-07: We flew home from CO. Rhoda and I worked in the headquarters building. I was also able to help with the annual youth camp cleanup day. We got the FL Camp Announcements worked on.

June 09-14: GMYC, To God be the Glory for moving among us again another year.

Young people sought and found God. Young people were encouraged to be used of God! Special thanks to Bro. Matt Maloyed and the board for a ministry well done.

June 15: Northampton, for Father’s Day.

June 16- 21: Penns Creek Camp board meeting. I preached at Camp Hill and the Gospel Center. They serve meals on Saturday night at the Gospel Center where they could have around 45-60 show up for the service. We appreciate Pastor Donald Kiskadden and Pastor Sherman who lead the ministry at the Gospel Center.

June 22: Camp Hill, I appreciate how they are working together as we are looking for a pastor. 

June 23-29: Gen Bd mtg and a Home Mission Bd mtg this week. I also preached at Camp Hill again and attended 3 camp meetings – Camp Robinhood, Hanover and Mt of Blessings. I’ve appreciated how many good preachers we are blessed to hear – Rev. Bennie Durr Sr., Rev. Daniel Durkee, Rev. Keith Bunch, Rev. Daniel Stetler and Rev. Matt Ellison. 

July 01-05: I went to Mt. of Blessings and Hanover Camps again and then enjoyed a little family time with my dad on Thursday night for games. Our family was so blessed to all be together for a 4th of July meal and have a missionary family to Spain with us. Wes and Janna Cressman family, who is with H.I.M. is my wife’s cousin. They are having deputation services even now. 

July 06: Northampton and Ono Camp. In the afternoon service I enjoyed the Lebanon Gospel Band. In the evening, I also enjoyed the ministry of Rev. Jeremy Fuller family.  

July 07-12: I met with Bro. Cancio, our world mission director. I had a combined Gen Bd mtg with the Missionary Crusader’s board about our Missionary Crusaders President position. I preached at Camp Hill. It was a privilege to have fellowship with Rev. Jacob Mason and to show him ministry opportunities in a nearby city. We then enjoyed a meal together. He is doing a ministerial internship at Beavertown Church. I visited Oakland Mills two different days. I also enjoyed Bro. David Fulton’s preaching and the special singing by the Tim Cooley Jr. family. 

July 13-19: I preached at Northampton church in the morning and went to Beulah Camp for the evening service. Dr. Alan Brown preached a good message. I also went to Kids Camp and appreciate how God uses this wonderful ministry! It impacts children and those that attend. I filled in at Camp Hill again and went to Beulah Camp for morning service. I finished the week at Penns Creek Camp workday.

July 20- 24: I preached two times at our Camp Hill Church. There is a lot of administrative work and sermon preparation for our 90th General Conference. I preached on “Empty Nets” using the text in Luke 5:1-11. Having experience, equipment and energy is not enough for God’s work. We must have the Holy Spirit empowering us! 

July 25- August 03: Penns Creek Camp, God met with us in a wonderful way. Full report in this issue of the standard.
