We had a wonderful camp! Rev. Rodney Loper, Rev. Randy Neville, and Rev. Ron Stevens did an excellent job preaching. There were a lot of people seeking and receiving spiritual help. Rev. Dan and Michelle Durkee’s music ministered to us all. The food and fellowship were outstanding, along with the fellowship around the pond watching some children fish. Times of kayaking and the boat rides by Rev. Solomon Shaffer made for some special times for the children. Even a safe place to ride bikes.
Penns Creek Camp has a bright future because of all the young people who are using their talents and gifts for God. Some played in our camp orchestra, and others prayed around the altar with other people. They also had flyers made to go knocking on doors in the community. The first flyer had on it “Prisoner to Preacher,” promoting Rev. Ron Stevens’ testimony Thursday night. A group of 38 also went to Sunbury to knock on doors for a VBS. New children were found by this effort. I say, “Praise the Lord”!
The second Saturday night of camp was so special to Rhoda and me. The General Board and others planned an excellent service with so many meaningful tributes and many kind words! Thank you so much for everything!!! We love and appreciate each one!
The Lebanon Valley Band always comes for a pre-service the last Sunday night and adds so much to the worship of that last service.
We thank God and His people for helping us to reach our goal of $50,000. The people gave generously to Penn View Bible Institute, World Missions, Home Missions, etc.
To God be the glory for what He has done this year at Penns Creek Camp!
