Mount of Blessing Camp 2024 was one for the history books! God powerfully used our Evangelist to challenge our hearts and help us gain victory. This year had a change in that Rev. David Fulton had an emergency and had to leave. That night God worked it out that Rev. Jeremy Fuller was able to preach and what a powerful anointed message. For the rest of the camp, Rev. Harry Plank was able to fill in and work alongside Rev. Joe Smith. God used their messages to do a work that will last for eternity! We appreciated the wonderful music ministry of the Tim Cooley Jr. family as they ministered through song! Sis. Rachel Clough did an excellent job ministering to the hearts of our boys and girls. There is nothing more competitive than the boys and girls raising money at Camp! Rev. Eric Susan worked with our Youth and we appreciate his godly example and passion for God! Most of all we appreciate the Presence of God working and helping in the services and around the altar.
Before camp ever started there was much improvement made from last year when the Lebanon Valley Gospel Band in preparation to play broke through the unknown rotten floor joist. In preparation for this year’s camp the platform was lowered for better visibility and a solid concrete slab was poured with new carpet, accented faux stone, and a fresh paint job on all the walls. There were so many who helped prepare for camp and there were those who poured countless hours into constructing, painting, cleaning, and praying.
Mount of Blessing is a special Camp where Godly friendships are made. Wonderful fellowship is shared, especially with the Wednesday night musical strings around the campfire, Fourth of July fireworks, Saturday pig roast, and just folk visiting with each other. But most of all it feels like the family of God when we sing together, hear the preaching of God’s Word, and pray together for victories to be won around the altar. To God be all the Glory!
Next year’s dates will be June 27th – July 6th. Our evangelists will be Matt Ellison, Bryan Line, and the Jeff Self Family as the singers.
