June 5-8: Administrative work, I was privileged to visit and take out to eat two ministerial students, Rev. Justin Ellison (HSBC) and Rev. Ricky Susan (PVBI). We are excited they are both licensed ministers with GMC. I also went to a Pension Board meeting where we are working on updating our materials. I finished the week by going to our GMYC workday and sermon preparation.

June 9: Milesburg, PA to preach in the morning service. Please pray for them as they are in the process of looking for a pastor. In the evening, I went to hear the Penn View male Quartet as they sang outside on the Sunbury Church lawn. There was a great turnout!

June 10-14: GMYC had a new record attendance of 292 young people. I was faithful at my post and enjoyed refereeing many volleyball games that were played.  Best of all, God was with us service after service. The young people sought God. To God be the Glory!

June 15-21:  GMYC recap meeting, General Board zoom meeting, GMC Strategic Planning meeting. 19 different ministers attended. They represented our General Board, PVBI Board and Penns Creek Board. We are continuing to develop a Master Plan for our Penns Creek Campus.

Rhoda and I met with Rev. Michael McMillan to discuss Penns Creek Camp. Rhoda had broken her shoulder, had surgery and is in the process of recovery. She had done a lot each year to be a blessing to the camp. Thanks, Bro. McMillian and Camp Board, for this plan to lighten the load.

We enjoyed a meal at Perkin’s with the Giangirolami’s, an older couple in their 90’s, who found Beavertown Church and love it. They drive in from the Bloomsburg area.

June 22-23: Delmar, MD I went down on Saturday to visit and to enjoy a meal with our pastoral team at a restaurant. Sunday morning was the highlight as we installed Rev. Dominic Gattone as the Assistant Pastor. His wife, Gabriella, sang a beautiful solo in the service. Rev. Shane Walters and his wife are so excited to have them on the team.

June 24-30: Administrative work, lots of calls, texts and a few visits to keep up with everything. I was able to go to Mt of Blessings a couple times. Thank you, Camp President Brian Spangler and people for all the wonderful improvements. Rev. Fulton did an excellent job-sharing God’s word.

July 1: Lebanon, PA I went for a special meeting with the congregation. Bro. Alan Walter is having a lot of physical problems and is stepping down as Senior Pastor. When he is able the church wants him to be a Minister of Visitation. That’s his desire too. Please pray for him and the Church.

July 3: Lebanon, PA I enjoyed the AWC trio. I also am chairing some board meetings since the Senior Pastor is not available.

July 4: I visited my dad for a while and played some games.

July 5: Penns Creek, PA I met with President Durkee to get some updates. We had prayer together and then I went to visit Cara Bunch’s father at the Williamsport Hospital. He needs a lot of prayer! He is a diabetic and he may lose part of his leg. I then continued up to Mount of Blessing Camp and heard a challenging message by Rev. Joe Smith. God help us to intercede for someone. The wonderful fire work display was great again this year. I was able to sit on the cabin porch with my sister, Vanessa and her husband, Barry, and visit a little too. That was a blessing.

July 7: Lebanon, PA I visited the church and, in the afternoon, had a board meeting. I also went to Ono Camp meeting for the Lebanon Valley Band pre-service and EFM Mission service by Rev. Steve Gibson. I appreciate what God is doing around the world.

July 8: Zoom meeting with our Florida revitalization team. Bro. Jeff Stratton asked me to share a short devotional. Several of them shared an update. It was exciting. Bro. Steve Miller, our District Vice President, our lead Pastor, Bro. Jeff Stratton and I, had a short meeting on Zoom to discuss some plans.

I also went to the woods and helped my son-in-law; Daniel gets a couple loads of wood. The rest of the evening I did travel notes and other paperwork at my desk.

July 9: Administrative work

July 10: General Board and Crusaders board met to talk about Missionary Crusaders President and the board role/responsibilities of our Conference.

July 11: Lebanon, PA I went to visit Rev. Barry Arnold. I found out last night they put him in hospice care.

July 12: Rhoda and I went to Rev. Josiah and Kimberly Adair’s beautiful wedding. We wish them God’s best.

July 13: Lebanon, PA for a local church board meeting.

July 14: Beulah Camp, Rev. Duane Quesenberry preached an excellent message, and Benji McDowell family music ministry ministered to us in a special way.

July 15: Oakland Mills Camp, I was blessed to hear Tim Cooley Jr. share God’s Word. The Lord helped him as he was filling in for one of the main evangelists. Rev. Rollin Mitchell was able to preach a challenging message in the evening service. The Cooley’s did an excellent job in both services singing.

July 16: I visited with one of our ministers to discuss a few issues.

Jully 17: Kids Camp, God used Rev. Ryan Martin, the Evangelist, as he led songs, told a real-life story along with His excellent Bible stories. A good number of children made commitments to God around an altar of prayer.

July 18: Lebanon, PA I had a church board meeting and went over to see Rev. Barry Arnold who was getting weaker. Bro. Arnold responded and I shared scripture and prayed for him.

July 19-20: Kid’s Camp again and Penns Creek Camp workday. We appreciated the good turnout for workday.

July 21: Chambersburg, PA I preached and held a pastoral election. We are excited to report Rev. Terry Yoder as Sr. Pastor.

Duncannon, PA in the afternoon to preach for the wonderful Baptismal Service. We praise God for 16 that were baptized. God is working in a great way at the church.

July 22: Williamsport, PA Hospital to visit Bro. Bill Cookson. He is facing an amputation.

July 23: General Board zoom meeting Rev. Shane Walters & Rev. Dominic Gattone were both interviewed and moved up to Conference License. We appreciate both men.

July 24: Lebanon, PA I was there to hold the election for Senior Pastor. We welcome Rev. Curtis Going to the conference. He was voted in and accepted later.

I also went to see Bro. Barry Arnold again. He acknowledged me a couple times by squeezing my hand and trying to respond. It will not be long, and Bro. Arnold will be in his Heavenly Home.

July 25: GMC Conference, God met with us right away during the communion service. We appreciated God’s help throughout the day.

July 26- Aug. 4: Penns Creek Camp. It was a wonderful camp. It was unique in that we had 2 Bible school Presidents: Rev. Daniel Durkee (PVBI) and Rev. Adam Buckler (UBC) and former HSBC President Rev. Daniel Stetler all preaching the same year. God’s anointing was on each one. God then dispensed his grace on many people.
